Speech Lessons

We are in Auckland on holiday at my auntie and cousins house. I am going to be working on my project on the holiday. Seeing that its a speech that we have to do I thought I would get some speech lessons from my Grandma. She is an expert on speech as she teaches their local priest how to speak at church. She mad me a lot more confident about speaking in front of an audience.

Discovery Day

On Tuesday we had Discovery Day. In Pukeko there was the C.O.W.(Computer on Wheels.)We got to make garage band songs. You get to mix and match different songs and sounds to make song. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my pen drive to school so I could not save my song on it.after I got bored with that we went to my class,where you could take apart old laptops, microwaves and computers. That was very fun even though I got a cut on my finger!

Wild Weather

We were away from school last friday due to severe storm that forced people in doors and cut power to lots of homes.The following is a piece of writing created from that motivation.

On friday we had guitar, we had to drive along the Esplanade.My mum found it very hard to drive the car in this weather ,the shook as we drove along.there were lots of trees that had fallen over.We were held up in traffic for a while.
